	Spanning more than four decades, Mountain Equipment’s experience in equipping the world’s elite for the harshest conditions on earth is legendary. They have been part of over 100 Everest expeditions, participated in every British first ascent of an 8000m peak and unsupported trips to both poles as well as in many other adventures the world over.
	Snowsled started life in 1988 and have been designing and manufacturing ever since, reviewing and refining production techniques and materials to keep at the forefront of innovation, design and manufacture. All products are ‘Made in Britain’; sleds and all sewn items are produced ‘in-house’, giving benefits of quality control and the advantage of being able to respond fast to non-standard requests. 	In 1973 the first Hilleberg tent was sold: the Keb – a two-person ridge tent. From what we know this was the first tent made that offered simultaneous pitching of the inner and outer tent. This was 35 years ago and modern development in tents made this type soon obsolete and it was replaced by tunnel and dome designs. They are now highly experienced in manufacturing lightweight, four-season tents of the highest quality
